The KS2 classroom offers a nurturing learning environment which provides the basis for the pupils to begin their journey to realising their individual potential.  The children are afforded a high level of adult support, engaging and differentiated learning as well as the opportunities to address gaps in their learning through targeted intervention sessions.

The timetable has an emphasis on developing reading as well as core literacy and numeracy skills. This is in partnership with the wider curriculum delivered through half-termly topics.  On Fridays the pupils enjoy a carousel of cooking, art, PE and science to compliment the learning throughout the week.  

Opportunities for enrichment are varied and are aimed to enhance classroom learning as well as to develop children's social skills in the wider world.
