About
The KS3 site (Allingham Road) offers a 12-week intervention programme for KS3 students who are at risk of permanent exclusion. The primary focus of the intervention is to explore the barriers preventing students from successfully accessing mainstream education and to consider how these barriers can be addressed. In addition, we identify potential Special Educational Needs (SEN) and provide advice and support to mainstream schools and parents on appropriate next steps. Our curriculum is built around a bespoke offer that promotes the development of positive relationships, a range of life skills, and students’ readiness to learn.
The KS3 and KS4 site (Sidlow Bridge Campus) offers places for pupils who have been permanently excluded. The curriculum combines core subjects, vocational courses and enrichment activities. There is a strong focus on addressing and challenging behaviours while equipping our young people with the skills and strategies they need to build positive relationships with others. We also work to develop their confidence, resilience and self-belief, enabling them to achieve success both within education and in other aspects of their lives.
